Title: Social Media Intern, Tulsa-Based

Role Overview: We are seeking a detail-oriented, motivated Social Media Intern to support our social media team with community engagement across our clients’ social platforms. This internship is heavily focused on community management and helping us build strong, genuine online communities for our lifestyle, wellness, and CPG brands. 

About July Digital Studio:  July Digital Studio is a boutique social media agency located in Tulsa, Oklahoma, working with clients worldwide. We specialize in helping brands establish and grow their social presence. Our agency is tailored to serve the health, wellness, fitness, and CPG sectors. Our services include social media strategy & management, content creation, lifestyle photography, and branding.

Commitment: Must be able to commit 10–15 hours per week

Areas of focus: 

• Community Management

• Social Photo/Video Trend Research

• Content Production

Responsibilities:

• Respond to comments and direct messages across platforms including Instagram, TikTok, and Facebook in a timely, on-brand, and thoughtful manner

• Actively engage with followers (likes, replies, comment engagement) to encourage authentic community interaction

• Monitor social conversations, trends, and brand mentions related to our clients

• Flag important community feedback, FAQs, trends, or issues to the Social Media Manager

• Assist in creating and publishing social media content across various platforms, including Instagram and TikTok.

• Stay up-to-date with social media trends, best practices, and platform updates.

• Assist with weekly or bi-weekly community insights and sentiment recaps

• Support additional social media initiatives as needed with an “all hands on deck” mindset

Qualifications:

• Located within commuting distance to Tulsa, OK

• Currently pursuing a degree in marketing, communications, or a related field.

• Familiarity with social media platforms such as IG, TT and FB and their features.

• Strong writing and communication skills.

• Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.

• Comfortable in front of a camera.

• Excellent time management skills.
